Download the Beauhurst report here.

Henry opens proceedings, running through the highlights of the report, followed by the panel discussion and audience Q&A. The discussion starts with the brand of Cambridge, the level of investment going into the Tech & Life Sciences sectors within the city, moving on to explore the increasing crossover between the

two sectors.

Talent is covered and how post pandemic remote and hybrid working enables the

talent pool to be expanded, with Tabitha introducing the concept of “a Cambridge state of mind”. AI comes up as a key opportunity for Cambridge and we discuss the mainstream AI narrative.

Audience questions prompt discussion around international benchmarking, creating the right environment for innovation, trends for cheque sizes and the investment environment, what can we do to improve commercialisation of early stage companies, what would you do to help Cambridge if you were Prime Minister for a day, ending on what are the threats and opportunities for Cambridge moving forward.

This week's Tech news features Arm, Broadband Genie, Bango, Darktrace, Quartix, and Mimicrete.
